Imagine Vegan Café
I enjoy trying vegan friendly wines and vegan-friendly restaurants, but above all, I always support vegan only businesses for their dedication and their contributions to the vegan community. This is why I decided to go have a bite or two at Imagine Vegan Café while visiting Memphis, Tennessee.
I liked this restaurant so much that I went twice, the second time to satisfy my cravings for southern-comfort food, some good ‘ole biscuits and gravy. In essence, everything in the menu is vegan despite some of their non-vegan names or descriptions. Best of all, they serve breakfast, salads, soups, sandwiches and everything else throughout the day! During my visit to Imagine Vegan Café, I had issues finding the location, which is located about a block from the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium in Memphis.
I made sure to bring my appetite to eat some vegan food, and so I decided to begin my adventure with an appetizer, but quickly ran into problems. Everything looked delicious! Cleverly, the menu had an option for those who can’t decide, with two food items consisting of mini-hot dogs, wings, chik’en nuggets and hush puppies. By far, the wings and hush puppies were the best items! Then we ordered the Philly Sandwich and the Chopped BBQ sandwich, which came with coleslaw and fresh fries. I had an extra side of vegan mac and cheese. In case this wasn’t enough food, I ordered the biscuits and gravy with homemade sausage gravy. If you think this is a lot of food, then you are right, which is why I took some food back to my hotel. We almost rolled out of the restaurant, we were so full!

This is a restaurant that must be visited several times to be able to enjoy the large amount of food items in the menu. So when I go back to Memphis, I will go back to Imagine Vegan Café and sample more vegan food and so should you! If you are in the mood to enjoy a vegan atmosphere and delicious food with a hint of Memphis, then make sure to visit Imagine Vegan Café.
